I followed the recipe..or so I thought.. My cookies did not even come close to looking like yours! I did notice they were more gooey , but I thought ” oh well.. i’ll just try it “. I looked at all of the ingredients and that is exactly what I put, Is it possible that I mixed them too much?

Thanks for sharing this recipe!! I literally just baked them and they are to die for. I did have one question though, your dough balls look firm and like they were easy to roll into balls. My dough was extremely gooey and I could not roll them into balls so I just dopped them onto the sheet. How did you get that consistency to roll?

My cookies didn’t turn out puffy like yours, but they are oooooo sooo goood!!! I LOVE this recipe!! The cookies are chewy, and buttery, and I love the hint of saltiness. 5 star recipe!

Shelly-
I refrigerate the dough overnight in a mixing bowl. Then form the dough into balls the following day. You may have to let it set at room temperature for a little bit before creating the dough balls.

Had a question about refrigerating the cookies……….do you refrigerate the dough before you shape them or can you shape them into balls and then refrigerate overnight?

I just made these for my husband and I. INCREDIBLE! Possibly the best cookie I’ve ever had in my life. It was one of those food experiences, where you chew slowly and close your eyes and don’t speak when spoken to. New favorite in our house Thank you!

It’s been a really long time since I’ve made chocolate chip cookies, but these were amazing! I’m more of a cupcake/cake baker, so I couldn’t tell if my cookies were done or not… Needless to say, I’ve overcooked so many cookies in the past (waiting for that golden brown like I do for cupcakes!), and I think I did good by your recipe! I can’t wait to try more of your recipes posted. I love your shots of your finished products!

These look wonderful! What method do you use to measure your flour? Do you know the equivalent ounces or grams of flour for this recipe? I love my kitchen scale and get more consistent results when I use it over measuring cups. I can’t wait to try these, thanks!
