First– I would not say that you are a wannabe photography. You made it, girl. I can only dream of learning to photograph at your level. I’m trying!

Next — I decided to skip Samoa’s in my weak attempt to resist the calories. Too late. I saw your photos, and I think these are worthy of my trying this out.

I made a batch of these, and I agree about the crust. I also skipped the “dip the bottom in chocolate” step and added more in the drizzle on top. It was fun to unleash my inner Jackson Pollock with the chocolate.

If you come up with a better crust solution, please let us know!

These look great. Usually when I bake I bring stuff into the office the next day but these probably wouldn’t make it out of my apartment.
