So, these cookie were a big hit for my family over the holidays. I added the cocnut to whatever looked right to me (I didn’t measure it, but I think less than called for) and I made the cookies smaller so as to have more for everybody. I couldn’t even keep them long enough to store some for the next day, so I ended up baking a double batch for three nights in a row, on the request of my family of course! So good! Thanks for the great recipe.

I had to make these since I had these same ingredients in my pantry. They are very good (and I don't like pecans in my cookies or flaked coconut). My mom said they were the best cookies she had ever had and demanded the recipe! Thanks for a great cookie recipe!

Fabulous idea to clean out the pantry before buying new stuff. I usually buy and buy and before I know it, have 2 or 3 of the same things. I should adopt your habit too. By the way the cookie dough looks yummilicious and good enough to eat straight from the bowl too!
