It’s Friday which means it’s time for another Friday Faves post. This week, I’m focusing my attention on my must-have hair care products. As with most beauty products, I’m kind of a hoarder, so this list is by no means everything I own. However, these are the products that I’m using right now on a consistent basis.

In case you’re wondering, I have long, thick, color-treated hair. I’m kind of rocking a grown out ombre – which I love because darker roots are kinda my thing. Plus, this style allows me to go about 12 weeks between coloring appointments. I’m just sure to keep a pair of tweezers handy to pluck the four – yes, I counted them – gray hairs that have been making an appearance for about 4 years.

The items you see above are the items that I use daily – with the exception of the Macadamia Oil Deep Hair Repair Mask – that’s more of a weekly treatment. You may have noticed that a blow dryer is missing from the mix. That’s because I curl my hair daily, so I try to keep the heat damage to a minimum by allowing my hair to air dry as much as possible. I do have a blow dryer for those days when I’m in a hurry – it’s a cheapo Revlon model from Target, but it totally serves its purpose.

Must Mention

Although I’d love to elaborate on each product, I’m thinking that might bore you a bit, so I thought I’d pick one or two products each week to mention more specifically. This week’s stand out is definitely the Kenra Volume 25 Finishing Spray. I’ve been using this product for over a year and it’s by far the best hair spray that I’ve ever used. It has excellent hold and sets my beachy waves without making them crunchy. Amazing stuff.

I hope you enjoy this new series and I encourage you to feed into my product obsession by telling me about all of your favorite things in the comment section below!

I love the macadamia moisture treatment!! Recently I have been using Ojon oil from a sample that I got a while ago from Sephora! I am really liking it for summer! Its moisturizing, but I haven’t had any trouble with it looking greasy when I use it! I would recommend it! I am going to be buying a bottle soon!

We have been living in South America where I used products that I discovered through a lot of hit or miss shopping.
Now that we are back in the US .. I am a kid in a candy store, I keep buying new shampoos and conditioners !
I have pretty long blonde hair that is very dry and very straight. So conditioners are important .. Right now- John Frieda Shampoo and Frederick Fekai Conditioner.
But my all time favorite products are from Goldwell. Their shampoos and conditioners are amazing and as soon as we are settled in our new home/new town .. I am going shopping :)

Give the Ojon products a try sometime. You might be in for being amazed. Also the WEN products are ESPECIALLY good for those of us who color their hair because there are no sulfides to strip the color away!
