2011 has been a pretty amazing year for My Baking Addiction. I can’t quite put into words just how thrilled I am with the response the site has received. I’m just so happy that you guys continue to enjoy my recipes and photos and sometimes rather ramble-y descriptions of family vacations or what cupcake liners are my favorite.

You certainly listen to my rambles more than Brian ever would care to, and for that, I think you deserve lots of lovely presents! Don’t you?

In the coming weeks, I’m going to be giving away some pretty spectacular packages, packages designed for very specific people in your life. Up first, we’ve created a gift guide and giveaway for all the coffee lovers out there.

Over this past year, I’ve had the best time being a Keurig Ambassador. Before I started in that program, I liked coffee, but I didn’t love coffee. Between my Keurig, the awesome flavors Green Mountain Coffee makes, and Amber’s insistance that I add a Keurig milk frother to my life, coffee has become a full on obsession in 2011. I can no longer imagine life without my Keurig or my Cinnamon Roll K-Cup packs.

One of the things that used to stop me from starting my day with a fresh, piping hot cup of coffee was the time and effort it takes to make a regular brewed pot of coffee. I leave the house much earlier than Brian does.

Our work hours are quite different. So by the time he’s ready for coffee, whatever I might have brewed is old and definitely past its prime. It seemed silly to go to all that effort for just one travel mug full of coffee. Easier to stop at a coffee shop or forgo all together, you know?

But since we added a Keurig to our kitchen, I look forward to my morning commute just a fraction more now. (Let’s face it, it’s still a morning commute.) The bright spicy cinnamon scent wafting through the car on my way to work makes me happy. And a latte with my Keurig when I get home from work? The perfect pick me up while I get started on the evening’s baking adventures.

I hope that you love each of the items we’ve selected for this coffee lover’s gift guide and giveaway. You should be able to pick out a few favorites from the Green Mountain Coffee Variety Pack, and they’ll store elegantly on your counter with the K-Cup Pack Carousel.

I thought the Keurig was the most phenomenal invention to coffee – that is, until that adorable little milk frother entered my life. If you’ve seen my Facebook updates, you know that this little gadget has created a full on addiction. In seconds, I have perfectly warm, extremely frothy milk for the latte of my choosing – at a fraction of what it would cost me down the street at Starbucks. And I don’t even have to change out of my PJs to get it!

Happy Holidays, my friends. Thank you for an amazing year. Here’s to many more!

I usually take my coffee black, but in the winter time nothing beats adding some peppermint creamer to add some holiday flair. Cuddling up by the fireplace with peppermint mocha coffee is the best way to start my winter season.

  2. Elizabeth says:

I love lots of sweetness in my coffees. I typically like mochas, caramel coffees, etc.

  3. Jackie Sherrill says:

    Regular w/ milk and sugar.
Sometimes I do use the flavored creamer’s.

  4. Kelly says:

I love really strong coffee with a touch of chocolate…….

  5. Joanna says:

I like my coffee strong, with just half and half in. However, I do like adding egg nog instead when its on hand!

  6. Ashley Ferguson says:

I drink my coffee black, because I don’t think good coffee needs anything extra!

I like my coffee with french vanilla creamer

  8. Megan Martinez says:

My coffee should be very full-bodied, only slightly hot and slightly sweet. Add a splash of cream, sometimes vanilla or hazelnut flavored, and it’s perfect. *slurrrrrp!*

  9. Deborah says:

I usually take my coffee with 1/2 & 1/2…However in the fall/winter when I can get coffeemate’s pumpkin spice creamer I use and enjoy it!

  10. Elise says:

I love hazelnut coffee with splenda and some plain creamer for my coffee.
