It’s no secret that I like pretty things. From cupcakes to curtains, I have a certain aesthetic style that I adore, and I love to surround myself with it.
Probably to do with my OCD tendencies, I prefer things to be balanced, calm, orderly. For a long time, my camera bag was the antithesis of these words. Huge, black, bulky – even when I was walking around my hometown, I looked like a tourist without a clue.
Enter Epiphanie Bags. Even if I didn’t know the secret organizational surprises each bag holds, I would want one as a simple hand bag. They’re gorgeous. Brian actually thought I’d purchased a new designer bag, not realizing my Epiphanie bag was built for my camera!
I have the Lyric bag in mustard and am currently pining over the Ginger in Slate Blue. I mean, I have a thing for bags and purses anyway, so an Epiphanie bag that I can take anywhere and keep my camera safe is like a match made in heaven.
Each bag is made of high quality materials, and comes with specialized velcro-stabilized inserts that can be moved around for complete versatility. The inserts and the bag itself are extra padded, so I know my camera, my iPad, and heck – even my lip gloss, are going to stay where I put them. Epiphanie seems to use some sort of light weight padding, because these bags are not bulky in the slightest.

My husband just bought me a Canon 7D for our anniversary and I would LOVE the Ginger bag in black with the pretty pink on the inside.

I have been coveting the Lola bag in red for MONTHS!! My camera, bag, and about $1200 worth of equipment got stolen this summer when someone broke into my friend’s car as we were loading up after a birthday party for two little girls. Thankfully, my camera and equipment were returned, but I haven’t been able to replace my bag yet. I’d love to win this one!!

My favorite is the Ginger. I am not much of a purse woman: I prefer a backpack purse or money in my pocket. The Ginger doesn’t look as “pursey” as the others; more like a laptop bag. I like the design and the pockets on the outside. Black would be the way to go too. It is something my husband could carry too. Since I just received a Nikon digital camera with removable lenses, this is perfect!

I am a photographer, and am gearing up for my first wedding season!!! I want to look chic, professional, but fun, with a pop of pizzaz! I KNOW the Lola bag in teal covers all of these!! I would love nothing more than to have my gear by my side, “dressed” for the job!
The handles are perfect because I’m always carrying my purse at my elbow. But the extra long strap is a MUST, so I can carry the bag across my body as well. I LOVE how light and cheery the inside of the bag is! Being able to find things quickly when on the move is a MUST! I also love the the inner zipper pocket to hide things, or to be able to keep track of used and unused memory cards in a flash!
I would LOVE to win this bag, and be able to rave about it at this year’s upcoming events!

so I love the Lola bag in turquoise.
but i also have a short story to go with the “LOLA” bag in particular..
I’ve had my heart set on this bag for about a year now.. here’s why. my mother’s name was Lola. she passed away at age 54 when i was just 20 years old. so i named my first daughter after her.. “baby Lola” who is now 1 year old!! when i first found Epiphanie bags online last year, i could not believe how much that style bag perfectly painted a picture of my mother’s style. She was a ‘hippie” in her time, but I loved to remember her as a free spirit who was a beautiful mexican-american, ranchera girl who fell in love with a surfer from san diego.. my father.
Anyway… when i seen this bag, (and even the model wearing this bag-with the feather in her free flowing hair) i thought.. oh wow… there is no question it screamed my mom’s sence of creative style and ended up puting it on my birthday wish list… the hubby tried to purchase it for my birthday and it was back-ordered or sold out..
so.. come this april, i’ll be 30 and again… it’s on my wish list and my passion to have this bag is still strong as ever. needless to say, i really hope i win this give-away. thanks for the opportunity, and thanks so much for listening!
