Giveaway: Jacob Bromwell Cookware Set

What if I told you there was an American company that’s been making cooking products of exceptional quality since 1819 that even today is following the traditions and processes it was founded on over 190 years ago?

That company is Jacob Bromwell Cookware. Today, I’m reviewing and bringing light to this staunchly American company because it’s so important right now to showcase companies providing American jobs.

Jacob Bromwell makes cookware products for the kitchen, the campfire, and even the fireplace – yes, fireplace! One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen is their fireplace popcorn popper. Talk about cooking from scratch, guys.

When I opened the box from Jacob Bromwell, to my surprise, I was suddenly sent back to my great grandmother Lottie’s kitchen. Here was an updated version of the Jacob Bromwell sifter I used in her kitchen for years. Immediately – like magic – I was back in her yellow kitchen sitting at the table with a big bowl of flour, playing in the alley next to her house, having coloring contests with her that I always won and taking in the smell of her Oil of Olay scented skin when she would embrace me in those amazing great grandma hugs. It always floors me how things like this Jacob Bromwell Sifter can bring back such wonderful memories.

I was able to try out the Heritage Cookie Sheet, Sutler’s Mill Cooling Racks, the 5 cup All American Sifter, and all three of the Wonder Shredders. Each product struck me as extremely well made – solid. The metals are excellent quality, not likely to rust or tarnish.

I’m sure you can guess that the sifter is my favorite piece, but I also really enjoyed the versatility of the shredders. With handles on each side, and a size convenient to resting on most bowls, they’re perfect for quick shredding. They store flat in a drawer, and are super easy to clean.
