I can’t say enough about certain tools in my kitchen. My number one go-to for making dinner every night? My Le Creuset pans and French ovens. The consistent heat distribution, the ability to go from stove top to oven, and, probably needless to say: the beautiful colors!
Okay, so maybe it’s a little girlie. I’m not usually a girlie girl. But I just love having different colored Le Creuset pots, pans, and French ovens in my kitchen. The rainbow of colors makes me smile while I cook.
I am *really* digging their latest color creation: Ocean. Smokey teals, greys and blues come through in this color that are as calming as they are beautiful.
Le Creuset sent me their deep saute pan for review. The first thing that struck me was the beautiful Ocean color. I think it’s my favorite yet. The second thing that struck me was the versatility of this pan. I mean, it goes without saying that the Le Creuset pans can go from the stove-top to the oven to the table. But this saute pan can be used to make anything from slow braised meat to beautiful pan sauces.
The heat conduction is perfect. The non-stick enamel means that the short ribs I was braising got a perfect sear, but didn’t stick to the pan, and I used hardly any cooking oil. The size of the pan is versatile too. It’s just right for making a meal for Brian and me, or more when we’ve got guests. While it has weight, it’s not too heavy to handle easily.

My aunt has the oval dutch oven, 9 1/2 quart capacity in the pretty lime green color and I contemplate stealing it every time I visit her for dinner. But I can’t b/c she is usually cooking something in it! It is the most versatile piece I have ever come across.

The Ocean color is lovely! We recently acquired the 12″ fry pan and it immediately became one of our *most used* items in the kitchen. I would love more Le Creuset items, but especially their signature round dutch oven.

Oh the Le Creuset Classic Saucier, 2 1/4-Qt. DEFINITELY! I would love a real saucier in addition to a normal saucepan. Only cooking for 2 the smaller would ‘fit’ much better. And it would have to be flame or dijon. I love those ‘retro’ colors.

The Signature Round Dutch Oven 5 1/4 qt in red would complete my kitchen for sure!
Since I am in desperate need of large bakers for my growing family, I would have to say the Large Rectangular Baker would be my number one choice (although a tea kettle would be nice as well!). I wouldn’t be picky about a color, but I do like the Ocean (it’s unique!).
It’s so hard to choose, they are all great, but I think I would love the Le Creuset Classic Oval Dutch Oven, 5-Qt. in Dijon…I love the color and I just found a recipe for Blueberry Grunt.

Wow, I would really love this saute pan. I think the best Le Creuset that would complete my dishware would be the 11-piece signature cookware set (all lime green). I really covet the Le Creuset Signature Round Dutch Oven 5 1/2 Qt. in Cobalt. This could be the workhorse of my kitchen. Long Minnesota winters means lots of stews, chilis, and learning how to braise and slow cook meats!

I was obsessed with pretty much all of Le Creuset’s cookware! If I had to pick one though I would really love the Le Creuset Signature Oval Dutch Oven, 9 1/2-Qt.. I have some recipes that require a dutch oven and I just don’t have one yet!

The other Le Creuset pan I would choose would be the 13-1/4 Qt. Dutch Oven; they are the best for long braising. I love Le Creuset for the even cooking and durability. The Ocean color is fantastic. I would really like to win the pan.

Lucky I already surf the Williams-Sonoma site to gaze longingly at LeCreuset pots and pans. The Le Creuset Signature Oval Dutch Oven (6 3/4-Qt) in Ocean would be a great addition to my kitchen. Ohhh, I’d love any of the classic Dutch ovens (5-1/2 qt or larger). I love, love the lemongrass color but looks like that is discontinued. I thought they used to have a color called kiwi, but I can’t find it. I guess I’d take fennel instead.

If I can choose anything off of the Williams Sonoma site – I’m going B-I-G! I’m going to go with the Le Creuset Classic 11-pc Cookware Set. Quite frankly – why pick just one when you can have A WHOLE SET? I’m not sure if it is offered in this color but my favorite is Lemongrass. I do (heart) the Fennel but if I’m dreaming – I’m going to have to dream of Lemongrass.

The Le Creuset Fondue pot would complete my collection… fondue is a favorite for my boyfriend and me.
I don’t own a dutch oven so I make do with transferring from a stovetop pot to an oven-safe dish thus losing some lovely flavors. I would LOVE to start my LeCreuset collection with your giveaway (please?) but I do NEED to invest in a Le Creuset Signature Round Dutch Oven, 5 1/2-Qt or bigger.
I think I would most enjoy a Le Creuset Signature Saucepan, 1 1/2-Qt…. could use it for my marshmallow making, my pot is old and grimy.
I could really use a classic round dutch oven, probably the 4.5 quart size. I have the 9 quart, which we really use and abuse, but definitely would be nice to have something a bit smaller.

I adore your site & Le Creuset! When I was in college, my mom began giving me a piece each Christmas (there’s an outlet near our house). I have 2 different sized oval Dutch ovens, a round Dutch oven, a square skillet grill pan, roaster pan (which is great for lasagna), and 2 saucepans as well. Each of them are frequently and lovingly used! I think to complete my kitchen, I’d enjoy a Le Creuset Classic Saucier, 3-Qt., in Fennel. All of my other pieces are different bright colors which I love so this would be a welcome addition!

After a house full of company on Easter, I have found that my next piece on my wish list is a 7 1/4 round dutch oven. We just moved to Colorado from Arizona and I’m cooking more soups so a bigger pot would be nice for company.
Hands down it would be the 5 1/2 quart signature round dutch oven! Love their cookware!
I already told my mom that my wedding present will be something from le creuset, and I think my favorite thing is there 6 3/4qt dutch oven. I love to slow cook soups and meats because they are easy to take care of while I study, and when I finish I have a warm and flavorful meal to eat

Would love the Le Crueset Signature Oval Dutch Oven, 9 1/2 Qt in Cobalt Blue to make Homemade Chicken Soup, Lasagne Sauce, Applesauce, and Tomatoes all for canning. Or maybe the La Creuset Classic Oval Doufeu, 9 1/2 Qt in Flame for a large roast or a spectacular Prime Rib. Can you imagine – a Dutch Oven that actually bastes the food – Ingenuous! Those French – so clever – wait a minute – it bastes – I could do a Thanksgiving turkey in it, too! I really am in trouble now!

The 12″ Le Creuset Fry Pan is a beauty! Its a bonus how it mentions it does not require a lot of oil when cooking with it. As many have mentioned, the color is so chic and show-stopping (just as any Le Creuset piece is)!
