Giveaway: Le Crueset French Oven in Fennel

My favorite Irish Blessing goes:

“May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind always be at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

and rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”

Le Creuset has a new color offered exclusively through Sur La Table that brings to mind the fourth stanza of that blessing: “and rains fall soft upon your fields” – Fennel, a deep Irish green that I am positively doing a jig over.

If there’s ever a kitchen tool I could tell you I use every single day, it would be my Le Creuset French Oven. I use it to make dinner at the end of almost every workday, whether it’s stir fry, soup, Guinness stew, roast beef, or risotto.

The heat conduction is superior, the size and shape perfect for whatever dish I want to throw at it. To say I adore my Le Creuset would be an understatement. To say I heart the fact that it’s dishwasher safe? Understatement of the century.

Ah! What a great giveaway, thanks! I would love to win. I have ALWAYS wanted a Le Crueset French oven. I like either the standard 3 qt or 4 qt French oven. I like making ratatouille but don’t have a pot that can go from stove top to oven. *fingers crossed*

The classic Le Creuset Oval Doufeu® features a recessed lid to hold ice cubes during cooking, which creates condensation along the lid’s dimpled underside. As food cooks, the condensation drips evenly from the dimples and bastes the meat, recycling steam and sealing in moisture for succulent, tender results.
This is very interesting and the bright orange color could be easily seen for quick removal from my menagerie of mis-matched cookware in my cupboard.

I think the oval skillet 15 3/4″ 3qt in the flame color would be my choice. The wonderful size of it and the shallow reach into it to turn the pancakes or grilled sandwiches or flatbreads or whatever has my mind spinning with possibilities to cook in such a pretty pan…love it~

I would love to see the Le Creuset Doufeu in blue for the next giveaway. For someone who does lots of roasts in the oven this pan is perfect! With the Doufeu system of ice in the inverted dome and the condensation drip into the pan, meat will turn out perfectly moist!

The Honey pot! it’s a little more substanial to be considered “dainty” but I just love the shape and the bright yellow knocks my socks off! It would be an adorable addition to a grown up tea party with my daughter or a sunshiny piece to leave on the kitchen counter.

I would love to see the 7 Piece Spatula Set as a giveaway. I just love this set because there are there are 4 different size spatulas, as well as a spatula spoon – you can never have enough of these items. Add to this a basting brush, a jumbo slotted spatula spoon, and it is all in a convenient stoneware crock which is just perfect. I love all three colors but I think the white may be my favorite because they would match Snow White, my mixer.

It sounds so basic, but I would like to own a 9 quart Round French Oven in Cobalt Blue. I don’t own a french oven, but have really wanted one for a long time, but alas, my poor grad student budget does not allow for me to get one of these beauties! As an Italian girl, I know I would get a TON of use out of it for making my tomato sauce and soups!

As a mommy of 4 (all under the age of 5), LC is a little out of our budget. Looking at our Sango Nova Green ( http://search.replacements.com/texis/search?order=ClientCount-d&query=nova green sango ) plates,cups…that we have-(fennel-green and dark green colour) decided to give us a chance to win .Why not! Our cheap and missed matched cookware would need some update, not only because we want the NEW ones, we NEED the HEALTHy ones, for our children and for us! LC is the BEST CHOICE , the most recomended on the internet , the most durable , the safest to cook with, and also one of the most expensive
.So good luck!
Whoever gets it we wish you the best meals ever and enjoy the “cooking”.

Hello, my wonderful wife, never asks for anything , she’s loving, polite, and a wonderful cook. I would love to give her an opportunity to have a le creuset, to enjoy being our mommy even more. We have 3 children and 4th on the way. She does everything herself, and never complains. I can tell she’s getting tired at her 6th month of pregnancy, but she’s full of love and happiness( our kids are at home because of their young age,under 5y.o.) so It would be a nice gift for her, and we could stock up with food before the new baby comes..lol.
