Giveaway: Peugeot Baltaz Corkscrew

Post image for Giveaway: Peugeot Baltaz Corkscrew

Welcome to Day 3 of the My Baking Addiction Father’s Day giveaways! Peugeot, funnily enough, are the makers of fine cars in Europe, and fine home and kitchen accessories in the United States. Their Baltaz Corkscrew is no exception to the quality you find in their cars and their home goods.

Peugeot makes a lot of fine things for the kitchen, including a Pepper Mill that will be featured later this week. But I’m excited to tell you about the Baltaz Corkscrew because I’ve honestly never used an easier corkscrew in my life.

Opening a bottle of wine has never been so simple. With two handles to cinch around the neck of the bottle tightly, and a simple lever to push the worm (you know, the spikey swirly part that goes in the cork) straight down into the cork, the bottle will be open in no time, without any broken corks or ruined wine.

None of that behavior has ever impressed Brian either. Having this corkscrew in our home is as much about making him happy as it is about me not looking like a complete goof and first-time drinker when I go to open a bottle of wine.

I can’t tell you how many times my novice drinking self has ruined a bottle of wine by accidentally breaking the cork so that tiny fragments end up floating in the murky below. Who wants to drink cork or eat it in their Braised Short Ribs? Not me. Not anymore.

One lucky MBA reader will receive the Peugeot Baltaz Corkscrew!

And I’d offer them a site redesign, because my poor phone could not handle theirs for some reason…
