GIVEAWAY CLOSED

This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to Jennifer C. who commented, “I’d make treat tags for my daughter’s school treats! Last year the other moms always had adorable tags, and mine printed off the computer looks terribly inadequate!” Here’s to amazing holiday crafts AND more adequate school treat tags!

Since last year when I gave one away, I’ve used the Silhouette CAMEO™ for countless projects in my classroom. From art projects, cards and bulletin boards – I’ve saved time and money creating all the things a teacher and baker could possibly need.

When I first received my Silhouette CAMEO™, I was so excited to get to work creating fun treat tags for the kids in my class. It all seemed way too convenient and user-friendly. The idea that a cutting tool could be attached directly to the computer where thousands of DIY crafts are available at your fingertips seemed almost too good to be true, but it is indeed true, and so easy!

I began searching through the extensive selection of online designs and stumbled across self-adhesive vinyl and thought that it would be a perfect option for labeling spice jars. This is how I made the cute labels for the jars in my Pumpkin Pie Spice post. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the final product. And after I made those labels, I was pretty smitten.

I was also able to design adorable tags for the Slow Cooker Apple Butter, and gift tags for the homemade Apple Pie Spice and Hot Cocoa Mix – which even included adorable mitten and snowflake cut outs! Yeah, I’m kind of proud of that project! The possibilities with this machine are really endless and it makes gift giving pretty darn fun! Who could resist Reindeer Chow featuring a festive reindeer silhouette on the gift tags?

The Silhouette CAMEO™ is incredibly versatile. It can create intricate projects of all sizes from small (1/4″ wide) to large (12″ wide) and has an unlimited cutting length. It can cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, and other materials.

When the blade is replaced by the Silhouette Sketch Pen, the CAMEO will sketch instead of cut – how cool is that? It can be controlled from a computer or an SD card and with the print and cut feature, the CAMEO also has the ability to cut out designs that have been printed on your home printer!

The Silhouette CAMEO™ gives you artistic freedom to come up with your own ideas and design as you go, or if you’re looking for some detailed options that you don’t need to put a lot of thought into, there are printable classes available and easy-to-follow instructions on a ton of DIY ideas.

This is the second Silhouette CAMEO™ that I have been able to feature in a giveaway and I am so excited that another lucky MBA fan has the chance to win one of these fantastic crafting tools!
