Hello my fellow bakers! I present to you another wonderful giveaway. This is the second Le Creuset Baker’s Set I have been able to share with you, and just in time for the holiday season too!

The perfect pie couldn’t be easier with this set. It includes a 10″ stoneware pie pan, a french trivet, an oven mitt and a pie bird – all in Le Creuset’s famous Cherry color!

What does a Pie Bird do, you ask? This little ceramic cutie is hollow, and funnel shaped. It supports the center of your pie so you don’t have any cave-ins, it also allows steam to escape from the cooking filling so that you don’t have any boil-overs, and ensures the filling cooks completely. How awesome is that?

This beautiful Baker’s Set could be just the tool you need to finally perfect your grandma’s apple pie or give you the motivation to make that amazing cherry pie recipe you’ve had your eyes on. Think of the savory chicken pot pies you can make all Winter long!

How to decide? I wish my entire kitchen could be Le Creuset! Perhaps the 7 1/4 QT. ROUND FRENCH OVEN in CASSIS would be a good start. I’d actually most want the pie dish… although I might like the white color so that it wouldn’t matter what filling/top crust I used it would always look pretty. (I’ve never liked chocolate in red dishes for some reason.)

Just purchased the Cassis Two in One Pan. Haven’t used yet as there are just so many things I want to try, I can’t make up my mind.
