Are you a coffee drinker? If so, I am guessing you know exactly what a Keurig Brewing System is. I’m a fan of coffee, but rarely drank it at home except for Sunday mornings. You see, I have an issue with getting out of the house on time for work… or, well, pretty much any activity.

I don’t consider myself late, I like to think of it as extremely prompt, meaning down to the last second. Being the I am extremely prompt, there’s not much time for me to mess with a coffee pot… or blow dry my hair for that matter. Instead, I relied on my co-workers to bring me my morning jolt of caffeine. That is, until the Keurig entered my life a few weeks ago.

I was approached and asked to be a Keurig K-Cup Ambassador. The title still makes me chuckle because it’s so official sounding. Regardless of the title, from the moment I opened the box, I have been obsessed with this little coffee powerhouse, and so is Brian. He actually went out and purchased a second Keurig just for his office and now holds 8:30 am “Coffee with Brian” meetings at work.

As a Keurig K-Cup Ambassador, I’ll be posting recipes, highlighting some delicious flavors and hosting a couple of great giveaways. I’ll also be providing you with exclusive monthly promotion codes that can be used at greenmountaincoffee.com.

I’m pretty excited about this partnership and even more excited that in less than a minute I can brew the perfect cup of coffee, head out the door, and continue to be extremely prompt to my destinations!

This Month’s Code

is AM0001-3568, and will give you 15% off of a Keurig Brewing System as well as free standard shipping at Green Mountain Coffee. It will expire on 6/10/11 and will be replaced with a new code.

I have white fuzzy stuff in my water reservoir. I put vinegar thru my system a week ago since I’ve had my unit for 6 months. I’d like to know how to get rid of and keep it away.
I’ve also had an older unit for about 6 years and have never had this problem,

      BarbJean-
I’ve never had this problem, so I would definitely recommend contacting Keurig customer service to discuss.

Until I purchased my Keurig coffee maker, I never made a pot of coffee for myself, because I only drank one cup and then the rest got cold and I didn’t like the taste of coffee sitting in the pot for more than a fee minutes. I hava an issue with left over coffee. My grandmother lived wiith us, when I was a kid. She had an electric hot plate upstairs in her room so she could have coffee anytime, she wasn’t a very sociale lady. One Sunday I was upstaiirs and thought i heard her moaning. I called my farther to check on her. She was having atroke, what got to me was the smell of the coiffee pot burning dry on the hot plate. After that I could not stand the smell of left over coffee being reheated for just left warming on the stove. As an adult I am always brought back to that moment when ever I smell coffee warming on the coffee makers. So thank you very much for Keuringl. I buy my coffee grounds ( I like Gevila) and make my own to the strength that I likel

If you like the K-Cup Keurig, then you will love the new Vue Keurig. The only coffee machine we have used since 2004 is Keurig. There is nothing better.

I have the Breville also and love it. The new Dunkin Dark Roast cups are awesome. This is an old post so not sure anyone will see it but tried anyway

I too have a K-cup addiction! We happily received the Breville Keurig machine last Christmas and are in love. Coffee, tea, iced tea, hot water for soups, hot cocoa…we use it all day long. My latest fave is the Green Mountain Organic Sumatran, otherwise I stick to my Peace Coffee in the K-cups. If you have never heard of them, I highly recommend it by my coffeee snobbish standards :)

I love that phrase “extremely prompt” because being late has been my lifelong downfall. I married a man who considers himself late if he isn’t 30 minutes early. In order to get a Keurig, I bought hubby one for Christmas after he told me he didn’t want one. After hurting my feelings over being upset with what I bought him for Christmas, we kept it. He told me I could use it but he wasn’t going to. He started using it every morning once I stocked up on his favorite coffee (Hazelnut) and has been using it every morning since. He just recently told his father that there is nothing like having a fresh cup of coffee every morning. I almost fainted. He even makes me my cup of coffee in my travel mug and hands it to me as I run out the door in order to be “extremely prompt.”
