If you happened to read my Beyond the Sugar post from last week, you know that I’ve recently become the proud owner of a Sleep Number i10 Bed. If you missed it, here’s a recap:
A couple of months ago, I was contacted by the lovely folks at Sleep Number. They asked if I would be willing to review a Sleep Number mattress and share my tips for turning a bedroom into a Sleep Haven. Of course, we were immediately intrigued, so we headed to the mall the following day to do a little investigating before we agreed to work with Sleep Number.
You see, Brian and I have very differing opinions on mattress comfort. I prefer my bed to be on the soft, squishy side and Brian prefers his to be much firmer. The Sleep Number’s dual-layer design allows both of us to personalize our comfort. It’s this technology that makes Sleep Number technology absolutely perfect for couples like Brian and I. In fact, our Sleep Numbers are quite different – I fluctuate between a 35 and 40 while Brian’s magic number is 65.

My bedroom sleep haven has soft lights, warm beautiful colors, music and some terrific artwork to look at. And soon, with luck, we will have a new and wonderful bed that we can both customize! Hooray!

To create a bedroom haven, I keep colors, sounds, and lighting in my bedroom muted, perfect for sleep or cuddle times.
King beds are the way to go! I have never tried a sleep number so I’m pretty intrigued.
Oh, we so need a Sleep Number bed as I am 5’1″ and my husband is over 6 foot tall! Not only that but her snores horribly so we have seperate rooms. He has the master bedroom with our 10 year old Sleep Number bed and I sleep in a spare bedroom on an old twin. Needless to say, if I win, I get the new mattress and a new bed frame will be in order!!
