Dear Jamie,
I stumbled across your blog a month ago or so and have been in love ever since. I am enrolled in a club called 4H (if you’ve heard of it) and this is my 10th year in the club. Usually we have to make fresh yeast bread or oatmeal cookies, but this year they expanded our options to cakes. We could bring in only 1 layer of cake without icing, so I got creative knowing I needed to find a knockout cake without icing. This cake especially caught my eye. So after sewing my 4H dress until 3:30 AM, I arose at 6:30 to bake this cake and get it judged on time. The judges love it and after deliberating, my cake won! I will be baking another and bringing it to Springfield, IL on August 16th. I will be sure to keep you updated. Thank you so much for providing this recipe to the public and giving this 16 year old many recipes to make over her summer.

i just made these into cupcakes!! i dont own a bundt ban and my friend suggested cupcakes!!! DELICIOUS!! just make sure to put the cinnamon filling only in the middle and the batter touches around the edges.. otherwise they fall apart

Oh! My!! Goodness!!! This cake is amazing. I made it last night for our church picnic this morning and (I know this isn’t very church-like, but….), I was hoping no one would like it so I could take it home and eat it by myself. All of it. It’s awesome!!!! It’s going in to the “keeper” file. Thank you.
