Rarely am I rendered speechless. However, when I received word that My Baking Addiction was the winning blog in the Breakstone’s Triple Churned Challenge, I’m pretty certain I had a brief moment of speechlessness. That small moment in time was followed by a scream…

If you have no clue what I am talking about, allow me to explain. I was contacted in September to develop a holiday menu that utilized Breakstone’s Sour Cream. My menu was posted alongside menus from Amanda’s Cookin’ and Iowa Girl Eats. The public was then asked to vote for their favorite menu. Despite some tough competition, My Baking Addiction was the winner! Woot Woot!

When I started My Baking Addiction over two years ago, I never imagined anyone besides my dad would actually read my blog. I remember checking out my stats on Site Meter and being elated that 100 people had viewed my site and was often perplexed as to how they landed on MBA.

The amount of growth that we have seen in just two short years continues to amaze me. It’s incredibly gratifying to be able to share my recipes and photography with such an amazing community of people. I truly appreciate each and every single one you that continues to visit, read and comment on My Baking Addiction. I personally want to thank you for voting throughout this lengthy challenge…you guys are simply amazing!

A special thanks to my family for rallying behind MBA and bothering everyone they know to vote. I’m pretty certain a few people de-friended my mama on Facebook due to her incessant MBA related status updates! A BIG shout out to my lovely kitchen assistant, Brittani: Clearly our long hours in my disastrous kitchen paid off! Thanks for all you do to assist with MBA!
