I just wanted to know if the Baking blend can also be used in ice teas and stuff as a sweetner. I am a diabetic and always looking for a sweetner that taste good but is also healthier. What is the difference between the baking blend and the regular Truvia.

I will be curious to know if you have made any cupcakes with it. I have a friend who has a family member who is diabetic and she asked me if I could make some low sugar cupcakes. I have never tried as in my opinion if you can’t just have a cupcake then there is no point. I have been on the South Beach diet for awhile and I love to bake but for the most part nothing is as good as the real deal when it comes to cupcakes and buttercream and sweets in general. But I wanted to give it a go for my friend and her family. Any tips you can share would be much appreciated!

I actually attempted to make brownies with this blend and was unsuccessful as well. In my experience so far, the Truvia Baking Blend works best in cookies. I am still playing around with the blend to bring more tested recipes that perform well.

I have baked with this stuff “truvia” twice know and my brownies are HORRIABLE!!!! this stuff sucks. There is NO flavor to my brownies and instead of when I pour the mix into the pan when I use the truvia its just like playdoh — ITS NASTY, I cant even trick my kids not even my 2 year old!!! it doesn’t work.

I don’t use refined sugar any longer, just stevia and truvia, and coconut sugar! My friends and family love everything I bake. Thank your taking on this challenge. =)

Oh, I’m totally interested in recipes using Truvia .. This weekend I took some pictures for my blog and .. I’m turning into a chunky, chunky pear and I’m not happy about it – at all.

So yes .. bake away using Truvia .. I’ll look forward to some sweet treat recipes with a lower calorie count
