Ahhhh! It’s a New Year, a new decade and time for those resolutions. I try to refrain from making resolutions that I am likely to fail at… I like to feel some success, ya know what I mean? This year I decided to actually write down my short list of goals and hop on board with the 10 in 10 Healthy Challenge. This challenge was put together by Lori, of the blog, Recipe Girl. If you have never checked out her site, get your booty over there because she is fabulous!

The 10 in 10 Challenge is open to everyone and is essentially a 10 week commitment to a healthier you! As of today, the 10 in 10 Challenge has over 250 awesome people from 38 states and 10 countries committed to a healthier lifestyle in 2010! The goals indicated by the participants include: losing weight, exercising more, lowering their cholesterol, increasing their strength, eating more veggies and many more! My goal list is pretty short, but in my opinion they are pretty attainable:

  • Eat more vegetables
  • Work out consistently
  • Take a multi-vitamin
  • Reduce my sugar intake
  • Track my food intake consistently on The Daily Plate
  • Lose weight

Check back every Saturday for my weekly updates which are sure to be filled with humor, rants and sore muscles galore! Also stay tuned for some awesome healthy recipes, tips and inspiration! Don’t worry…I will still be posting my usual baked goods…there will just be some healthy treats and dishes thrown into the mix!
