Giveaway: Le Creuset Sangria Pitcher & Serving Platter

Can you believe it’ll soon be Labor Day. As of today, my summer is officially over – back to work tomorrow. I’m really not ready to face that whole situation, but I do know that we’ve got a solid two weekends left to get our big barbecue party on. It’s no secret that I’m not a big drinker, but Sangria.. well, that’s another story.

There’s just something so perfectly refreshing, Summery and festive about a drink that combines wine with your favorite summertime fruits, don’t you think?

The folks over at Le Creuset recently sent me their Caribbean Sangria Pitcher to review, and a matching entertaining tray to boot.

Le Creuset’s Sangria Pitcher is for a start – beautiful. It’s got a large, sturdy handle so you can get a good grip, and the spout is artfully curved but also designed to prevent spills while you pour liquid that also has ice and fruit in it.

The pitcher is built to handle all sorts of extreme hot and cold temperatures, so I’m thinking Mulled Sangria come Winter, what do you think?

The matching Caribbean Blue Serving Platter can be used for all sorts of things. You can make an “entertainment set” by combining the pitcher with the platter and adding some beautiful wine glasses. Or you can serve a platter full of piping hot grilled chicken and vegetables at your next barbecue.

I love that the platter has a lip and ridges to keep any food or meat juices where they belong, but also offers built in handles for easy passing around the table. I can also see serving my Christmas guests an array of cookies and cupcakes on this beautiful tray.
