Congratulations to Haley of Young, Fit and Fabulous {Comment #341}. Enjoy your new toaster!

You’re going to laugh at me, I just know it. I tend to fork out the cash when it comes to kitchen gadgets. I like knowing I’ve gotten what I paid for. I’m not a kitchen gadget snob, I just like for my stuff to always work when I need it to work.

That’s why it seems so out of character that for as long as Brian and I have been together, we’ve been using his bachelor-days $10 toaster. His kids even make fun of us for it. It was janky as anything – seriously, you literally had to hold the lever down through the cooking process and then pray that it released when you thought the toast was done. We hardly ever indulged in toast, because the thing was about as reliable and effective at toasting bread as the sun might be.

That’s why reviewing the Magimix Colored Vision Toaster has been a joy. This toaster is incredibly robust. It’s built to last for 30,000 uses. Even if you have toast once a day for every day of the rest of your life, that’s more than 82 years!

It’s got all the features you want from a toaster; simultaneous defrosting and toasting, one-sided toasting, and extra-wide slots for bagels, baguettes and hamburger buns. But the real treat of the Magimix Colored Vision Toaster is that it’s the only toaster with a viewing window so you can see the toast as it cooks. You’ll never have burnt OR undercooked toast again! And it’s really cool to watch the bread turn that perfect deep golden brown, right before your eyes. You can use preset browning levels, or simply press the pop-up button when your toast looks perfect to YOU.

Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and we’ve designed some giveaways that are perfect for the mom in your life (maybe you!) that finds her joy in the kitchen.

Stay tuned all week for more fantastic Mother’s Day Giveaways!

My mom taught me to bake, cook and to be a welcoming hostess. She has been gone 16 years and I miss her every day.

If I told you all the truly amazing and wonderful things I appreciate about my mom I would miss the opportunity to end your contest! Each day I realize more and more how blessed I am to have my mother still happy, healthy at age 71!

My Mom rocks because she fights daily to beat the cancer that has taken so much out of her. She still has the energy to call and ask how things are going with us, or asks about our problems and our joys. She embraces all that God has given her, the good and the bad and makes the most of every day!
