BAKED POTATO SOUP
with all the toppings!
Sauté the aromatics
Cook diced onion and garlic in butter until soft, translucent, and fragrant
Add the liquid
Whisk in flour to make a roux, then add milk and chicken stock and bring to a boil
Add the potatoes
Add in baked potatoes, cheddar cheese for sharpness and Velveeta cheese for creaminess
Load it up
Load the soup up with bacon and sour cream and salt and pepper to taste. Serve with more cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions!
