How to Brown Butter

You're just 10 minutes away from having nutty, rich, browned butter to add to any baked good or use in savory dishes!

Cut butter into pieces and melt in a light-colored skillet over medium heat.

Stir the butter to keep it moving. It will start to foam up.

As the foam starts to subside, you will also hear sputtering as the water evaporates.

Milk solids will fall to the bottom of the pan and start to brown.

When the butter reaches your desired color, pour it into a bowl to stop the browning process.
