Make this cherry cobbler with a simple batter and cherry pie filling for an easy dessert any time.

Place butter in a pan and let melt in preheating oven. Whisk together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, vanilla, and almond extract.


When butter has melted, pour batter in the pan over the butter. Do NOT stir.


Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly on top of the batter. Again, do NOT stir.


Bake for 50-55 minutes, until center is set and top is golden. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
