Bring to a boil sugar, corn syrup, salt, and water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add in peanuts and stir until combined.
Start the mixture
Place a candy thermometer into the pot and continue cooking, stirring frequently until temperature reaches 300°F.
Cook to 300 Degrees
Immediately remove saucepan from heat and quickly stir in butter, vanilla, and baking soda.
Add other ingredients
Immediately pour the mixture onto a lined baking sheet. Spread with a rubber spatula.
Pour onto baking sheet
Once the candy has fully cooled, break it into pieces.
