chicken & wild rice soup

Creamy and comforting, this chicken and wild rice soup is packed with roast chicken, veggies, herbs, and nutty wild rice.

In a large dutch oven, saute the onions, celery, and carrots in butter until soft.


Add the garlic, wild rice, and flour and cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the stock and herbs. Simmer, covered, for 40-45 minutes.


Add the chicken and cream and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, until rice is fully cooked and everything is warmed through.


Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving. Enjoy!
