easy  apple  Cobbler

This easy apple cobbler is an old-fashioned favorite full of warm spices. This version is made with Bisquick for a quick and easy topping.

Peel, core, and slice apples and place them in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Drizzle with the juice of half a lemon.

Whisk together flour,  brown sugar, granulated sugar, and apple pie spice.

Toss the apples with the spice mixture. Spread out into the pan and pour in water or apple juice.

In a bowl, combine Bisquick mix, granulated sugar, and milk.

Dollop the topping over the apples. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbly around the edges.
