Easy Apple Turnovers
granny smith apples unsalted butter brown sugar apple pie spice frozen puff pastry 1 egg powdered sugar milk vanilla extract
Cook apples in butter for 2-3 minutes, then add brown sugar and apple pie spice and cook 2-3 more minutes.
Prep the filling
Cut each puff pastry sheet into 4 pieces and place a spoonful of filling in the center of each.
Fill the turnovers
Brush the edges with egg wash and fold the puff pastry over the filling. Seal the edges with a fork.
Fold and Seal
Cut a slit into the top of each turnover, brush with egg wash, and bake.
