Whisk together the dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients; add to dry. Beat for 2 minutes.
Make the batter
Pour the thin batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.

Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pans to cool completely.
