marshmallow frosting

Homemade marshmallow frosting is easily made from scratch with just a few ingredients for a glossy, fluffy frosting.

Mix together sugar, light corn syrup, salt, water, and egg whites in a glass or metal mixing bowl with a mixer for 1 minute.


Place the bowl over a pot of boiling water. Mix on high for about 7 minutes.


When the mixture is glossy and voluminous, add clear vanilla and beat 1 more minute.


Pipe or spread onto your favorite cakes and cupcakes or use as a filling. You can even toast it for the perfect finish!
