Slow cooker spaghetti sauce

This easy slow cooker spaghetti sauce cooks low and slow for a richly flavored sauce that is ready by the time you get home from work.

Add whole, peeled San Marzano tomatoes, passata, tomato paste, garlic, onion, carrot, parmesan, basil, and oregano to a crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Use an immersion blender to puree the sauce to your desired texture. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.

To add meat, brown ground beef, ground pork, or ground italian sausage until fully cooked.

Add the cooked meat to the sauce and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Serve over cooked spaghetti or freeze for up to 3 months.
