Giveaway: Breville Smart Oven

I confess: I never really saw the point in toaster ovens. It seemed like a pointless appliance meant to take up counter space doing jobs that my toaster and my microwave could do just as easily. I went for years with this way of thinking. Then Breville went on a mission to change my mind.

They sent me the Breville Smart Oven. It’s not a toaster oven at all – it’s a real, honest to goodness oven – small enough to fit on your counter, but big enough to handle baking cupcakes and pies, or even roasting a chicken.

I love that the Breville Smart Oven doesn’t turn my entire kitchen into a sauna. It’s going to be perfect as the warmer weather wafts its way through Ohio. I’ll still be able to bake up sweet treats for you without causing Brian and myself heat stroke. I’m also really stoked that the Breville Smart Oven comes with a baking tray, pizza tray and broiler rack, all coated in hard wearing enamel. You can even buy an optional pizza stone, which is RIGHT up my alley. I love that it offers convection heating, and I absolutely adore the simplicity of the dials to get the perfect settings for whatever I aim to cook. I may not even use my big oven this summer – this little guy is a powerhouse, and would probably lower my utility bills with its efficiency!
