If you happened to read my Beyond the Sugar post from last week, you know that I’ve recently become the proud owner of a Sleep Number i10 Bed. If you missed it, here’s a recap:
A couple of months ago, I was contacted by the lovely folks at Sleep Number. They asked if I would be willing to review a Sleep Number mattress and share my tips for turning a bedroom into a Sleep Haven. Of course, we were immediately intrigued, so we headed to the mall the following day to do a little investigating before we agreed to work with Sleep Number.
You see, Brian and I have very differing opinions on mattress comfort. I prefer my bed to be on the soft, squishy side and Brian prefers his to be much firmer. The Sleep Number’s dual-layer design allows both of us to personalize our comfort. It’s this technology that makes Sleep Number technology absolutely perfect for couples like Brian and I. In fact, our Sleep Numbers are quite different – I fluctuate between a 35 and 40 while Brian’s magic number is 65.

My best tip for a bedroom haven is to take the TV out of the room :)

This bed would be an awesome addition to any bedroom. A peaceful, serene, relaxing, etc bedroom will do no good if your bed causes you to lose sleep or wake up sore, stiff, etc. This bed would be like the icing on the cake!

Funny, I was just thinking about my mattress the other day. It must be 12 years old and was a cheap one because we didn’t have a lot of money at the time. Would be a wonderful Xmas present to get a new Queen bed!
Never been lucky lol but thought I would give this one a whirl. I prefer soft colors and super fluffy bedding like sleeping on a cloud :-)
Leave the TV in the family room!
For my bedroom haven I keep the color scheme warm and I have tons of pillows on the bed. I also keep a few afgans handy for those chilly times. The lighting is soft and warm…no harshness allowed!!!
