For some reason I have been inexplicably drawn to all things striped. From straws to tea towels I am craving these modern, lined pieces to jazz up my kitchen. Maybe some Fruit Stripes gum will help quell this craving!

If you have come across a fabulously striped piece, feel free to add the link in the comment section. If you’re interested in other items that I love, be sure to follow me on Pinterest.

Oh how I love stripes too! I actually just painted a wall of stripes in my office and have a large 8×11 yellow and white striped rug in my living room now. Both of these photos can be found on my blog under home decor @cookbakeanddecorate.blogspot.com. My office looks just like the one in the photo. However i just came across some lovely striped dish towels at ikea in a great royal blue color for only $2.99 for 2. Can’t beat that price!

Im so glad that you are doing all these stout recipes. I am very dissapointed that on St. Patrick’s Day, you write about stripes? Really? This was a day to put up a great sodabread, or corn beef and cabbage recipe, maybe scallion potatoes….I mean SOMETHING irish!!! Im such a huge fan, but I am a lil upset about this one. Sorry my first post was negative.
I will end in a positive note tho. I made your Oreo cake fora friends going away party and it was a tremendous success. Thanks for that!

      Autumn–
I would never leave my readers hanging on St. Patrick’s Day! I have a fantastic stout recipe posting this evening! I just had to get a couple of posts up this morning.

I’ll have to disagree with you on this one. What is the point of posting a great St. Patrick’s day recipe ON St. Patrick’s Day… by that time it’s too late to buy the ingredients or make it? Not to mention… I bet there are a dozen great St. Patrick’s recipes on this blog already!
