Are you a coffee drinker? If so, I am guessing you know exactly what a Keurig Brewing System is. I’m a fan of coffee, but rarely drank it at home except for Sunday mornings. You see, I have an issue with getting out of the house on time for work… or, well, pretty much any activity.

I don’t consider myself late, I like to think of it as extremely prompt, meaning down to the last second. Being the I am extremely prompt, there’s not much time for me to mess with a coffee pot… or blow dry my hair for that matter. Instead, I relied on my co-workers to bring me my morning jolt of caffeine. That is, until the Keurig entered my life a few weeks ago.

I was approached and asked to be a Keurig K-Cup Ambassador. The title still makes me chuckle because it’s so official sounding. Regardless of the title, from the moment I opened the box, I have been obsessed with this little coffee powerhouse, and so is Brian. He actually went out and purchased a second Keurig just for his office and now holds 8:30 am “Coffee with Brian” meetings at work.

As a Keurig K-Cup Ambassador, I’ll be posting recipes, highlighting some delicious flavors and hosting a couple of great giveaways. I’ll also be providing you with exclusive monthly promotion codes that can be used at greenmountaincoffee.com.

I’m pretty excited about this partnership and even more excited that in less than a minute I can brew the perfect cup of coffee, head out the door, and continue to be extremely prompt to my destinations!

This Month’s Code

is AM0001-3568, and will give you 15% off of a Keurig Brewing System as well as free standard shipping at Green Mountain Coffee. It will expire on 6/10/11 and will be replaced with a new code.

I got my Keurig when my daughter was 3 months old, and kicked myself for not getting it sooner. It changed my life :)

I am so jealous! I applied to be a Keurig ambassador, and didn’t even get a response on their website. :( Wah wahhh.

I love my work Keurig. My husband doesn’t want me to get one for the house since we have a full size coffee pot, but I want one anyway

  3. Julie says:

My caffeine obsession pretty much quadrupled when I got my Keurig! I’m seriously in love with it.

I absolutely love my Keurig! I am not sure what I would do without it. The one downside (and a very slight one) is that it feeds the coffee addiction. It took some self-control to not overdose on coffee which I love.

I love my Keurig at my office. Its great for the afternoon cup of coffee when you don’t want to brew a whole pot. They also sell little filters that you can use your own coffee in. Since the K-cups can get expensive.

Hey Jamie…Side note, I think we have the same coffee cups. The Food Network Line from Kohls…..It was strange drinking from a square cup in the beginning!

      Vickie–
Yes, we definitely have the same taste in mugs! It was totally weird drinking out of the square mug at first, but I don’t even notice it now. I love the dishes too! Thanks for visiting!

Besides the one cup convenience, do you really think that his provides a good or better coffee than a regular drip coffee maker? Thanks.

    1. Jamie says:

      Scott-
There is definitely a HUGE convenience factor and many of the K-Cups do brew an excellent cup of coffee. As for a better cup of coffee…I personally think so because the coffee is super fresh and doesn’t sit around in the pot. Plus, I like having flavor options whereas before I was limited to whatever bag we purchased on our most recent grocery shopping trip. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I’ve never had Keurig coffee. I feel like I’m missing out!! Would totally save me from schlepping to DD.. It can make ice coffee?! :) f

      Courtney-
We love ours, it’s actually one of my fave kitchen appliances! Yes, they do make iced coffee K-Cups, although I have not tried them yet. Thanks so much for stopping by.

I love Keurig! I don’t have one but my dad does, and I just love that everyone gets a fresh cup of coffee – no “sitting on the burner” coffee!

I have one and know exactly what you mean!

I love my Keurig, we actually bought my husband one to take overseas to Iraq when he got deployed. Sadly mine stopped working a few month’s ago and coffee has never been the same, so now my husband is mailing his back for me to have. I love the donut shop flavor it taste sooooooo good. My husband is partial to the Chai flavor.

      Melissa,

Did you know if you are part of Green Mountain Coffee’s Cafe Express, they warranty your Keurig for as long as you’re a MEMBER? Our 6 year old Keurig stopped working last year after constant multiple use every single day for those 6 years, and GMC replaced it immediately, no questions asked. I love Donut Shop too!

      Melissa,

What type of converter did he use for the power difference? I can’t seem to get mine working.
