If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we should try to make it extra special, right?

It’s not exactly a secret that pumpkin is one of my favorite things about fall. From my reader-favorite pumpkin cheesecake to my nana’s pumpkin roll, I can’t get enough of the stuff.

But there’s no rule that says pumpkin can only be added to desserts! In fact, it’s really delicious in breakfast recipes.

Adding pumpkin to your fall breakfasts

Whether you’re planning your Thanksgiving breakfast menu or just looking for a way to make your fall weekends feel more special, my pumpkin breakfast recipes are the way to go.

From a syrup that adds a seasonal twist to my iced shaken espresso to a pumpkin version of my favorite overnight french toast casserole, I’ve pulled together 13 recipes that your family will love.

These recipes are all delicious on their own. Or add them to a buffet with make-ahead breakfast casserole or yogurt and fruit to round things out.

Before you start baking, make sure you’re stocked up on pumpkin pie spice. I like to make my own—it’s easy, delicious, and saves you some money in the long run!

Planning ahead for the week? Make sure you stock up on reusable silicone storage bags and glass airtight containers to make storing breakfasts in the refrigerator or freezer a snap.

And be sure to check out all of my pumpkin recipes to make the most of fall’s favorite flavor!
